Sagrada Mushrooms
Nature-based psilocybin medicine

Healing with nature,
grown in New Mexico.

Sagrada Mushrooms is a medical psilocybin mushroom farm in Las Cruces, New Mexico, supplying locally grown psilocybin capsules to licensed practitioners, with a mission to offer this medicine in nature-based settings.

Products offered

Locally grown psilocybin, in the form that fits.

Grown at our Las Cruces farm and supplied to licensed practitioners for medical and therapeutic mental health treatment.

Capsules
A familiar format. Each capsule holds a set amount of homogenized medicine, so practitioners can plan with precision, and there is no taste or prior preparation to think about.
Teas
A slower, more intentional way to begin. Steeping and sipping a warm cup gives the experience a calm ritual, and suits those who are drawn to a natural, earthy preparation.
Powders
The most adaptable form. Practitioners can measure the amount that suits each patient and prepare it in the way that feels most comfortable, such as blended into a drink.
All products are intended for licensed practitioners within New Mexico's medical program.

Why nature-based

Weaving psilocybin medicine and nature therapy together.

Experiences with classic psychedelics, including psilocybin, are linked to a stronger connection with nature and more pro-environmental behavior.1,2

Early research suggests nature-themed settings may improve the cardiovascular safety of psilocybin-assisted therapy.3

Our aim is the most effective and safest way to treat mental health in New Mexico, in settings where patients can connect with nature and heal through it.

Why New Mexico, why now

A regulated program is taking shape, and it needs local supply.

April 2025
New Mexico enacts the Medical Psilocybin Act (SB 219), the first U.S. state to do so through its legislature rather than a ballot initiative. The Act also created a treatment fund for income-qualified patients and a research fund for universities and providers.
End of 2026
The Department of Health has set a goal of seeing first patients by the end of December 2026, a year ahead of the legal deadline.
Dec 31, 2027
The statutory deadline for the program to be fully operational.
Grown in New Mexico
Psilocybin administered through the program must be cultivated and produced in-state, under Department of Health oversight.
Sagrada Mushrooms is a Las Cruces producer positioned for exactly that requirement.
Room to expand
The Department of Health can add qualifying conditions over time. We plan to work with the DOH to suggest ways to make the program more accessible, including insurance coverage, more treatable conditions, and modalities beyond large doses, such as micro-dosing.
Where health meets the outdoors
New Mexico's open land is part of what makes its care distinctive. At Sagrada Mushrooms, the setting is part of the treatment, from open pastures to nature trails to time with wildlife.

Our Environmental Impact

Healing people, and the land they live on.

Experiences with classic psychedelics are linked to a stronger connection with nature and more pro-environmental behavior,1,2 and early research suggests nature-themed settings may improve the cardiovascular safety of psilocybin-assisted therapy.3 We are building care around both.

01
Care in nature
We offer this medicine in nature-based settings so patients can connect more deeply with nature and heal through it.
02
A greater care for the environment
We anticipate that New Mexicans who engage with our products and therapeutic services will have a greater appreciation and care for the environment.
03
Education across the state
We have hosted workshops in Las Cruces over the last year. Next, we plan to expand advocacy and education beyond southern New Mexico, offering more workshops more often so awareness of this medicine reaches the whole state.
Imagine care on a nature trail, or paired with equestrian therapy. The possibilities are wide open for what psilocybin can treat, how it is used, and which nature-based setting or activity it is paired with.
What this could look like
Imagine New Mexico,
showing up for its own land.
We anticipate that when people heal in nature, they leave with a deeper care for it. Here is the ripple we are working toward.
Healing that does not stop with the patient.
01
More hands for the land
An increased rate of volunteers for environmental organizations, from people who now feel a personal stake in New Mexico's trails, rivers, and open spaces.
02
Cleaner trails and public spaces
Less littering by people who are more aware and conscious of their environmental footprint, carried into everyday choices long after a session ends.
03
A ripple through the community
Workshops and education spread that awareness to families, neighbors, and communities across the state, so the benefits reach well beyond the people we treat directly.

Stay in the loop.

Get updates on our Department of Health license, upcoming workshops, and events across New Mexico.

We will only use this to send updates about Sagrada Mushrooms.
